Upon meeting Mike, he immediately stood out as being genuinely committed to producing quality homes that were not only finished well, but also built to last. When we were selecting a design build team for our lake house at Whareroa, it was important to us that we had complete trust and confidence in the architect, builders and sub-trades. Building 350km away from your home base is quite a daunting process and from the first meeting with Mike, I felt very comfortable that we had found a builder that understood the brief, had the capacity to achieve the desired result, and the association with a quality design team and sub-trades. From design to delivery, nothing was an issue, communication was smooth and hassle-free. Mike would email photos on a regular basis, which meant site visits weren’t needed as frequently as you might expect. The completed home has delighted us and drawn many compliments from locals and guests alike. We heard about Mike and Bayline through friends and had them design a Bach for us before we even bought the section owing to the shape of it. The brief was 4 bedrooms ensuite main bathroom, with separate toilet, all open plan with that main bedroom in front with as much glass along the front to capture the view. Straight off they got it bang on! Start date was August 1st to be finished by Christmas - the keys were handed over on Dec 19th!! All through the build we were kept informed by phone, email and photos and felt we were No 1 priority throughout. His crew were very friendly and obliging, plus the tradies were all locals which sped up the whole process. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike and Bayline to anybody wishing to build their dream Bach or Home.

We met Mike at his show home on Anniversary weekend last year and had a look around the show home. We liked the features and quality of the build and really liked the country style of build. After talking with Mike we set up a meeting with himself and his architect, who listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions and on our next meeting we got a plan that we did not change!! From the day the floor went down we have had absolutely no problems with Mike or his team, if anything Mike has already sorted out before you even knew about it. He is very professional and really has that passion to deliver to you a beautiful home and he treats your home like it is his own.
